FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

**WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE?     Yeah, everybody wants low prices. Well, we can't guarantee the lowest prices, but Sand Creek Music can guarantee that it will do it's part in helping with the bad economic times by trying to beat any major studio's price. That's right--- you can call it Pat's Stimulus Package! Also, if you are a first time client, you are entiltled to a special introductory rate. Prices starting as low as $35/hour.

**WHAT DOES THE HOURLY RATE INCLUDE?    Hourly rates includes engineer and use of full studio with equipment. It also includes mastering of your songs. (See mastering page if you need to understand what this process entails). Also, if needed, you will get free help with the production of your songs. This includeds: arrangemnets, vocal harmony, instumentation, and anything else involved in making your song sound great.

**ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS?    No. You will get a CD-R and/or an MP3 with the songs that you recorded. There are no instruments or recording equipment that you will be charged extra to use at Sand Creek Music.

**HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECORD MY ALBUM?    We don't know.

**CAN I GET CHARGED BY THE ALBUM INSTEAD OF AN HOURLY RATE?    No. Unfortunately, this has been tried in the past but turned out to be too much headaches for both parties involved. If you have an album to record, Sand Creek Music will give you a fantastic price anyway. We already know that most musicians don't have the money to spend at a high-end studio, so this is your opportunity to come in and record at the best price possible to fit into your budget. So don't even worry about how much money you will save by getting an album price vs. an hourly rate.

**WHY SHOULD I RECORD MY ALBUM WITH SAND CREEK MUSIC?    Most people coming to a recording studio DO NOT know the difference between one microphone and another, and certainly do not know the first thing about what recording platform and equipment is being used to record their song. When you step foot into Sand Creek Studios, you can rest assured that the recording platform is the same one used at every major studio in the world. You will also have a choice of 60 microphones and 24 channels of preamps to choose from. So when you record your songs with Sand Creek Music, you will be using the best stuff around. Don't forget, you get an engineer/producer with over 3 decades of experience that will be assisting you with your songs. Hey- don't take our word for it. Come in and try us out. If you are not satisfied within the first hour, there is no cost or obligation.

**CAN YOU HELP ME PROMOTE MY SONGS?    No- you will have to go somewhere else for that. A recording studio is a space where music is played and the sound is recorded. Sand Creek Music is NOT a record label looking for talent, a place that hires outside musicians, or a rehearsal room. However, if you are planning on promoting your songs, Sand Creek Music will, without a doubt, give you the sound quality needed to get promoters to listen to your songs.

**DO YOU HAVE BEATS?    We have a large selections of drum tracks, samples, etc. but remember that building up tracks is gonna take a lot of time and creativity. You are much better off downloading or buying your beats from someone else.

**CAN I SMOKE?    No. Smoke cigarettes outside only. Smoking "other stuff" is not allowed due to liability/impoundment issues and misguided government policies.

**CAN YOU TRANSFER MY OLD VINYL, CASSETTES, OR REEL-TO-REEL TO CD?     Yes

**DO YOU HIRE INTERNS?    Sorry, not at this time.

**CAN I BRING MY KID(S)?    No
